The Perfect Pitaya Bowl

Move over açaí, there’s a new immunity-boosting bowl making its way to breakfast tables, far and wide. Pitaya (aka dragon fruit) is vibrant and rich in both its color and anti-oxidant offerings. Gaining popularity through brands like Pitaya Plus, we love the raw, organic smoothie packs, because they’re made without GMOs or added sugar and to top it off, they’re also gluten-free, kosher 0and vegan – sound familiar?

Since Pitaya Plus is commonly blended with nuts and other mix-ins (and clearly has paralleled qualities to Perfect Bar), we just had to get these two superfood snacks together to create the Perfect Pitaya Bowl!

These two recipes pack a punch of anti-oxidants, fiber, protein, magnesium, vitamin B and, of course, perfectness:

The Original Perfect Pitaya Bowl

  • 1 Pitaya Pack
  • 1 frozen Banana
  • 10 or 1 cup of Strawberries (frozen for thicker consistency)
  • 1/3 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 Perfect Bar Mini of Almond Butter or Peanut Butter

Toppings:

  • 1/8 cup of Granola
  • 1 tbsp of Bee Pollen
  • Drizzle of Raw HoneyThe Perfect Pitaya Bowl Recipe with Ingredients

About me

Call it passion, or maybe curiosity -- whatever it is Jessica is fueled by, it's not slowing down any time soon. From the get-go, she knew that her desire to represent brands with a purposeful story was a strong one, and after graduating with a degree in public relations from SDSU, followed by a solid stint at a lifestyle PR agency, she landed in a role with a company whose story outshines the rest (hint hint, that's here). She's openly obsessed with the outdoors, reveling in cycling races, hiking adventures and, most commonly, brunching on patios. She is known for always taking the "scenic route" -- especially for fish taco pit-stops along the way -- and makes a solid effort to keep her schedule jam-packed with activities and friends, which keeps her on her toes.
