More Research Suggests Fat Not Always a Bad Word

Consuming oils high in polyunsaturated fatty acid content, particularly lipids rich in omega-3s, benefit brain health and cognitive function. Polyunsaturated fats, like those found in Perfect Bar, play a key role in your body’s cells function and may reduce heart disease and lower blood pressure. New research further indicates these lipids may assist in membrane formation and split rapidly during endocytosis. Therefore, having a large presence of lipids high in omega-3s, could present a strong benefit for cognitive function and cellular repair. It’s important to know that the body lacks the capability to produce omega-3’s on its own, and therefore, must be consumed through nutrition. Foods rich in omega-3’s include cold water fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines.

Other whole food sources include: peanuts, almonds, flaxseed, hemp seed, kale, and spinach –all of which can be found on a Perfect Bar ingredient label.
