ZEAL Optics is a unique line of eyewear born out of the need to create a look for every occasion. The brand is at the forefront of its industry, defending the desire to be different and embracing the need to constantly evolve.

ZEAL takes its carbon footprint seriously; every sunglass frame is made from 100% plant-based materials, the only company in the world to do this. The team has also developed plant-based lenses, getting closer to its goal of completely removing petroleum-based materials from sunglasses.

• Polarization — bending lightwaves like bosses: A polarized lens is something that you should expect in any pair of quality sunglasses, but not all polarized lenses are created equal. ZEAL’s next-level Polarized Lenses offer crystal clear vision and cut 99% of glare. This proprietary blend of materials allows the brand to improve the optics of the lens while exceeding ANSI Impact Resistance Standards.

• E-llume — the world’s first plant-based lens: E-llume is the world’s first lens using a plant-based bonding agent, replacing petroleum-based materials. With optimum clarity, this lens is proof that environmental initiatives are not a deterrent to an incredible optical experience. In conjunction with its Z-Resin frames, ZEAL is leading the way towards completely removing crude oil from sunglass production. E-llume lenses don’t skimp on protection or prevention either, with complete protection from UVA, B and C as well as HEV light.

• UV Protection — because a scorched retina isn’t awesome: ZEAL’s developments in UV protection are driven by the vulnerability of the eyes to harmful rays of the light spectrum. E-llume’s enhanced filters are designed to protect against these harmful rays-including all UVA/B/C light-and protect your eyes from sun damage and disease.

• Digital Rx: built for customized prescriptions: The custom Digital Rx Lab at ZEAL ensures that you are getting the highest quality Rx lenses available. Its zero-waste facility is an integral part of ZEAL’s mission to lead by example within the optical industry.
