In America, conscious consumption has only recently become a large-scale social movement —largely fueled by social media. After all, actions speak louder than words but money speaks louder than both.
October is Non-GMO Month, and we believe you have the right to know what’s in the food you feed your family. As midterm elections quickly approach this November 4th, Oregon and Colorado voters will decide whether or not GMO labeling will be required in their states. While the verdict is still out as to whether or not consuming GMOs is dangerous to your health, the truth is most of us have been consuming GMOs for much our lives without knowing it. What is so wrong with wanting to know what is in our food?
