Disruption-Documentary on Climate Change

History is made by action.  On September 21st, 2014, history was made with the People’s Climate March in New York City.  It was the largest climate march in history, and took place just two days before the UN Climate Summit where nations from all over the world came together to discuss the issues regarding climate change in their parts of the world.

Disruption is a call to action, delving into the reasons for our current climate crisis and revealing how inaction is only creating a scarier future for generations to come.  This documentary by Kelly Nyks and Jared Scott reveals the main culprits (big fossil fuel industries and politicians) of climate change but ultimately makes every individual reconsider their role as an environmentally-responsible citizen. Disruption takes a peek into the organizing of the People’s Climate March and just how much it takes to put together an event meant to change the world.
