Your Perfect Guide To Wellbeing According To Your Zodiac Sign: Love What You Eat Edition

Our zodiac signs can influence our emotional connections and our relationship to food—our appetites and our aversions, our tastes, moods, and desires. We are all are part of a beautiful and natural process, so as we tune in and observe the order of the heavens, let us be aware of the unique traits that give the people of each sun sign their special, quirky charm, to be part of the reason for their personal qualities and love of particular foods. All of us need to maintain balance in our minds, bodies, and spirits…our signs can help!

It’s important to integrate a focus on wellness into our everyday lives, and one of the simplest ways to do so is through the foods that we eat and how we eat them. With that in mind, here’s our astro-advice for February!

February Horoscopes 2019

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Personal qualities: Unique, brilliant, inventive, articulate, and progressive.

Aquarians will experiment with both the most cutting edge food craze or foods from the past that they sense are needed to benefit present and future generations. They may eat in a way oriented more toward saving the planet than anything else. They are usually on the cutting edge of new thought regarding food as medicine. Freshness, sustainability, and humane farming are all are important to them.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – Mar. 20)

Personal qualities: Empathetic, artistic, compassionate, selfless, and psychically attuned.

Pisceans love delicate, gentle food that is prepared simply and does not remind them of the harsher side of what is sometimes necessary to bring food to market and table. Some Pisceans may have strong cravings. They may have a sweet tooth, as they long for sweetness in all areas of life. They have emotional attachments to certain foods that remind them of important experiences.

Aries (Mar. 21 – April 19)

Personal qualities: Honest, brave, and headstrong.

Aries love food that can be made and eaten quickly without fuss. They can often have a meal ready before the rest of the family, who walked in the door with them, have put their things away and sat down at the table. Aries also have a habit of eating on the run, or too quickly. Small bites suit them. They love starters and appetizers as well as breakfasts.

Taurus (April 20- May 20)

Personal qualities: Loyal, pragmatic, good-humored, reliable, and musical.

A Taurus wants to feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the meal. They hate interruptions while eating, preferring to focus on their enjoyment of the food at hand. For some, this could even mean little to no conversation during meals except that which centers on the food at hand. Their love of comfort extends to all aspects of the dining experience.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Personal qualities: Witty, changeable, versatile, talkative, well read.

Geminis love to learn while they nibble, so they like to snack while on the computer, or while talking on the phone, or reading a book. For Geminis, a lively and interesting conversation during a meal is just as important as the food. Friends must be sufficiently quick-witted and amusing to keep Geminis from experiencing what they dread the most, boredom.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Personal qualities: Caring, tenacious, sensitive, nurturing, and practical.

They love anything that tastes homemade and will patronize businesses that add love and pride to their products. It is important for a Cancer to eat at regular times in a calm atmosphere, with people who make them feel safe and secure. They should never eat when they are upset. They are prone suddenly make a big emotional display about a particular thing they should not have eaten!

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Personal qualities: Creative, dramatic, proud, organized, and romantic.

A wise Leo will add what their doctor considers to be heart healthy foods to the royal menu plan. Their vanity will also help to keep their overindulgences in check. Leos like to eat in a royal way – they are flamboyant and like to make a performance out of everything they do. Whether they are eating a snack or a full course meal, it should contain some kind of protein.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

Personal qualities: Analytical, discreet, practical, intelligent, and detail oriented.

Virgo is the sign that rules digestion and as such, they in particular need foods that contain fiber and enzymes that aid digestion. Because Virgos have very active, analytical minds, their wellness is directly tied to how much or how little they worry. They also need foods that calm them. Small, nourishing and frequent meals work best. Virgos are fidgety and like to eat on the go or standing.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

Personal qualities: Artistic, refined, poised, intelligent, and tactful.

It is often difficult for Libras to decide what they want to eat, especially when they are by themselves. Eating is an art to a Libra. They are the consummate epicures and their approach to culinary perfection requires that what they eat has to be absolutely garden fresh and also look photo ready. They avoid unattractive foods – packaging and presentation make a difference to them when it comes to refreshments.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

Personal qualities: Intense, obsessive, loyal, determined, and passionate.

Scorpios crave intensity and the foods they are drawn to usually exhibit pure, strong flavors and aromas. They are the most passionate sign of the Zodiac. They eat what they want when they want it. They get really into the luxurious, sexy, satisfying experience of eating. They would feel less than alive if they were not able to have their cake and eat it, too, though out of sight.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Personal qualities: Generous, cosmopolitan, humorous, optimistic, well-traveled, and honest to a fault.

You can expect Sagittarians to be surprisingly blunt and honest about their likes and dislikes about food, even if their opinion was not solicited. As lovers of nature, they need lots of pure water and fresh foods of every variety; overly processed foods do not agree with their health or their belief system. Their numerous other interests and outdoor activities can cause them to skip meals.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Personal qualities: Ambitious, prudent, self-disciplined, thrifty, and traditional

Many Capricorns can eat the same thing every day for a particular meal, without becoming bored. They are drawn to quality, however, though they may say they worry about the expense. Capricorns can be surprisingly sensuous. It is a rare Capricorn that does not have a treat they consider a guilty pleasure. Capricorns like to be respected for their choices and their knowledge about the food (and everything else).
